Meta Update October 14, 2008 TweetSo I've got a couple of "small" things I've been wanting to write about for a while, and a big change that's happened recently, so I've decided to lump it into one blog post.
The "big" news is that I've accepted an offer to work for Braintree Payment Solutions. I'm really excited to get to work with the likes of Josh Schairbaum and John Andrews as well as some really cool projects. This Friday will be my last day at Edgecase. I've had the pleasure of working with some really great people along the way. I've seen some good projects and some bad ones. And I ate way to much BBQ sauce. An experience I'll never forget. So long! And thanks for all the fish!
Lately I've been trying to boost my open source presence. I've put up a couple repos on github, and I just wanted to point them out:
- dotfiles - my config files for bash, emacs, git, irb, rubygems, etc. A little bit for me, but I hope that someone can get some use out of them
- commanding-ssh-capistrano-talk - git repo for my "Commanding Your SSH Universe with Capistrano" talk
- intro-to-ruby-web-frameworks-talk - git repo for my "An Intro to Ruby Web Frameworks" talk
- time-me - a project to help me learn Objective-C/Cocoa and create an easy/effective way to track time
