have wii. snow? January 30, 2007

Well, it's been over a week now since that snowy day. We got about about 4 or 5 inches of snow. That day I made the ultimate sacrifice, me against mother nature, never having driven in such conditions. I'm from Florida, you know. And for what?

The day before I had gotten a tip from my brother-in-law that there was a rumor of Wii deliveries to some Best Buy locations. I checked the opening time of my local Best Buy. 10am on Sundays. We knew before hand it was going to snow, at least an inch or two. So I figured...heck, if I get there by 10am, I should be good. Honestly, who really knows about these Wii shippments and why would they be crazy enough to come out in the snow? Boy was I wrong. I arrived at about 10:15am to a line of at least 20 people. Luckily, even though I didn't know it at the time I walked up, there were 28 Wiis available at the store that day. I got my voucher and waited in line for 45 minutes. It was worth it. Stephanie put up some snow pictures. I put up my Wii pictures.
